SAT-II - Scholastic Assessment Test II

What is the SAT II?

SAT Subject Tests are hour-long, content-based tests that allow you to showcase achievement in specific subject areas where you excel. There are 20 SAT Subject Tests in five general subject areas: English, history, languages, mathematics and science. These 20 subjects are Literature, U.S. History, World History, Math Level I, Math Level II, Biology E/M, Chemistry, Physics, French Reading, French Reading with Listening, German Reading, German Reading with Listening, Spanish Reading, Spanish Reading with Listening, Modern Hebrew, Italian, Latin, Japanese Reading with Listening, Korean Reading with Listening and Chinese Reading with Listening.

Students in Thailand predominantly take only four of these 20 subjects, namely Math Level II, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. These are necessary for admittance to international programs at the following universities:

1.     Chulalongkorn University, Faculty of Engineering

2.     Thammasat University, Faculty of Engineering

3.     Rangsit University, Faculty of Medicine

Note: Chulalongkorn University accepts SAT Subject Tests as equivalent to the CU-ATS and CU-ATS (Nano).

Students who are interested in taking the test can register online at http://sat.collegeboard.org/register/sat-international-dates or ask us to assist with the registration. The SAT Subjects Tests are offered 6 times per year in October, November, December, January, May and June. Registration is only possible for the next test date.
